Paris Regional is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) new graduate to join our care team in Paris, Texas. You will deliver hands-on patient care, support plan-of-care development, and collaborate closely with RNs to ensure safe, compassionate treatment across units.

Ideal candidates hold an LVN license and an Associate Degree in Nursing, with BLS due within 30 days and ACLS/PALS within six months. We value dedication, reliability, and patient-centered care as you grow with Lifepoint Health.

Qualifikationen

• Current LVN license in the state and an accredited nursing school degree.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

How You'll Contribute

Essential Functions

• Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.
• Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Assists RN with development of plan of care.
• Assists patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Applicants should have a current state LVN license and possess an associates degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
