Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Performs plan of care interventions including medications, specimens, and clinical treatments.
  • Documents patient care and monitors condition, communicating with the care team.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
  • Coordinates patient care across transfers, discharges, referrals, and supports.
  • Provides patient and family education appropriate to age and culture.
  • Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.

How you'll contribute

You'll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

Essential Functions
  • Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
  • Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
  • Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
  • Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a associates degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred
  • ASLS certification preferred
