Job summary

Cambrian Homecare in California is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide 1:1 respite care to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role offers flexible scheduling and weekly pay, with training and PPE provided.

You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, manage g-tube care, and document visits. Requires LVN license in CA, CPR, and minimum 1 year home care experience. Join a supportive team dedicated to quality in-home care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year home care experience
• Active CA LVN license
• CPR certification
• Physical within the last 6 months and recent TB test
• Current TB test, current physical, valid CPR card and First Aid (within 30 days of hire)
• Clear criminal background

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care for families of a child or adult with developmental disabilities
• GastronomyTube(g-tube) care and feeding
• Take vital signs and administer medication
• TrachCare (very rarely, no prior experience required)
• Check blood sugar and administer insulin injections
• Seizure management – may involve giving medication and ensuring safety
• Document on nursing notes after each visit
• Be supportive to clients and their families
• Monitor and report changes in client care and/or behavior

Pay rate: $35.00 hourly
