Qualifications

• CA LVN license required in California.
• CPR certification required.
• TB test and physical within 6 months, CPI CPR card and First Aid within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• G-tube care and feeding.
• Take vital signs and administer medications.
• Trach care when needed (rarely required).
• Check blood sugar and administer insulin as ordered.
• Seizure management and safety monitoring.
• Document all visits in nursing notes.
• Support clients and their families.
• Monitor and report changes in client care.
