Job summary

Cascade Living Group is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide medication management and skilled nursing duties for residents while complying with state regulations. You will support personal care plans and ensure high-quality care in a compassionate environment.

The role requires an active LPN license, effective communication, and flexible availability including Fridays and Saturdays. This is a part-time position with evening shifts in Grass Valley, CA.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered LPN license required.
• Current state license and professional registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication management and skilled nursing procedures per state regs.
• Implement residents’ care plans focusing on preferences and routines.
• Assist in training and monitoring medication administration.

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with Cascades of Grass Valley, you will provide medication management and skilled nursing procedures for residents in compliance with state regulations.

• Maintains a current state license as a professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends

What you can expect to do as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Make a significant contribution to the quality of life our residents by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency

• Implement residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences and preferred routines

• Assisting in training and monitoring of medication care administration

• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management

• Monitor the performance of caregivers to assure quality care

• Educate residents and staff about health maintenance and disease prevention

• Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living

Required Certifications:

• Active and unencumbered Practical Nursing License

$33.00 - $35.00/hour
*Depending on Experience
