Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Vocational Nurse San Angelo, TX. This is a great full-time opportunity, 40 hours work week schedule, Monday to Friday, excluding Federal holidays.

Key Requirements

• Administer medications and treatments, including oral, rectal, and injectable medications, according to established protocols.
• Perform nursing procedures and monitor individuals' health conditions.
• Document observations, nursing interventions, and other clinical information accurately.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding individuals' conditions and care needs.
• Respond to medical emergencies and follow established emergency procedures.
• Adhere to infection control practices and facility safety protocols.
• Collect specimens and perform screening tests as required.
• Educate individuals on health goals and encourage appropriate health practices.
• Assist with turning, repositioning, and other supportive care activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system or paper charts.
• Follow facility policies and applicable nursing standards.
