Job Details

• Location: Fort Worth, TX - Onsite
• Address: 2501 Museum Way, Fort Worth, TX 76107
• Shift: Mon - Fri, 2p-10p
• Schedule: Full Time

What you'll do:

• Ensure the individual service plan is followed; administer or supervise treatments prescribed by physicians.
• Make meaningful rounds of all residents, utilizing service plans; make rounds with physicians and record visits on charts.
• Administer all intramuscular, subcutaneous injections; perform all in-house testing procedures; take and record vital signs.
• Document acute episodes or significant changes in resident status.
• Supervise aides in their duties by monitoring work; assign aides to residents, specifying break times and duties, including activities.
• Collaborate with Activity Director, DON, and Nurse Aides in carrying out activities programs.
• Meet with DON as needed and participate in staff meetings to maintain optimal performance.
• Communicate with physicians and follow through with their orders.

What you'll bring:

• High School diploma or GED plus one to two years of college or vocational school.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing school; current Texas licensure as LVN.
• Ability to use up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds frequently and/or 20 pounds continuously to move objects or people.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, lift, carry, pull, push, climb, kneel, walk, and stand over 75% of shift.
