Responsibilities

• Implement medication and treatment orders as directed by physicians and in accordance with the nursing care plan.
• Assist in identifying patient learning needs and reinforce self-care techniques.
• Report patient care, issues, and resolutions to supervisors; accurately document charges.
• Identify patient problems and risks, contributing to intervention development.
• Ensure a safe environment, assess safety risks, and adhere to safety and infection control standards.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting; inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Current Licensed Vocational Nurse license in the state.
• Current CPR certification.
