The Role
We are seeking talented Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for our Hulen office. Our CMAs and LVNs, called Utility Players, exemplify teamwork and versatility, managing a wide range of responsibilities to keep our clinics efficient.

Utility Players handle front desk duties (insurance verification, patient registration) and clinical tasks (triage, radiology, labs). They are warm, humble, passionate about healthcare, and committed to delivering 5-star care.

The Culture and Team
Our clinicians are supported by Clinic Management and Clinical Operations teams, assisting with inventory, education, and performance. We celebrate successes via our Employee Engagement Platform, Assembly, and maintain open communication through Town Halls. Our People Operations team conducts surveys to gather feedback and improve the employee experience.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

• Triage patients upon arrival.
• Communicate with the provider when the patient is ready, summarizing symptoms and vitals.
• Document visits in EMR system (eMDs).
• Assist with procedures: splinting, radiology, vaccines, medications, phlebotomy, etc.
• Administer and document medications as directed.
• Maintain exam and treatment rooms.
• Obtain lab samples and follow up on results.
• Provide patient education and address follow-up questions.
• Position patients for radiology procedures (training provided).
• Handle front office tasks: insurance, registration, calls, payments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Full-time and part-time staff are eligible for benefits starting after 30 days, including 401(k), development reimbursement, employee assistance, free visits, discounts, and renewal classes.

Clinic Hours (Houston)

• Monday - Friday: 12:00pm - 9:00pm
• Saturday / Sunday: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Requirements

• Passion for working with children
• Experience in Pediatric settings within past 3 years (min 6 months)
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with Texas license
• BLS certification (online renewal accepted)
• Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, clinical procedures, CLIA-Waived Testing, EMR
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
