Job summary

Redmond Fall City Animal Hospital, a Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner, is hiring a Part‑Time Licensed Veterinary Technician in Redmond, WA. Shifts needed: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We offer a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

As an LVT, you'll support veterinarians, perform outpatient care, assist in surgery, and run lab tests to support hospital operations. We focus on fear‑free care and compassionate service for dogs and cats across the Eastside.

Qualifications

  • Current Washington State Veterinary Technician license.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care and educate clients during outpatient appointments.
  • Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
  • Obtain pertinent health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
  • Assist in maintaining comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
  • Perform anesthesia and sedation induction and monitoring, dentistry including dental radiographs and charting, obtain diagnostic radiographs, and provide nursing care as instructed by the DVM to hospitalized patients.
  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile treatment areas, surgical suite, exam rooms, and labs.
  • Prepare patients, medications and equipment for examinations, surgery, dentistry and sedated procedures.
  • Collect and prepare patient lab samples for in-house and reference lab diagnostic screening.
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
  • Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
