The Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) is a key member of our medical team, providing primary support to our veterinarians, fellow support staff and patients. They must be able to pay attention to and maintain very high standards of patient care. Excellent technical medical skills are required. The Licensed Veterinary Technician must be able to communicate well with clients, showing care and concern for their pets. In addition, the technician must be able to organize and delegate the activities in the downstairs treatment room and communicate well with other staff members. The role of the Licensed Veterinary Technician can be challenging and requires excellent interpersonal skills dealing with both clients and staff. They must be able to work independently, pay attention to detail and respond quickly and calmly to crisis.

Full-time position (34–36 hours/week) working four days per week. No weekends or overnight shifts.
