BluePearl Pet Hospital in Richmond, VA seeks a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. This full-time role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays. You will triage, obtain history, initiate CPR when needed, and support advanced medical care for our patients.

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician!

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.

We are hiring an exceptional Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. If you enjoy patient care and working in a fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment, This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays.

As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will:

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
