Job summary

Heart of Chelsea Veterinary Group in New York seeks a licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our caring team. Responsibilities include client communication, nursing care, anesthesia monitoring, phlebotomy, radiography, and lab work, with records management and safety at the core.

Schedule includes evenings and weekends on a rotating basis across locations. Salary based on experience, with higher wages for experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Veterinary Technician license.
• Experience in general practice or emergency preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
• Perform diagnostic tests and laboratory work.
• Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.

• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
