Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in Virginia as a Veterinary Technician (LVT) or license pending.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs; physical requirements include walking, bending/kneeling, reaching, lifting.

Responsibilities

• Surgery preparation with pre- and post-operative care.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients.
• Dental cleanings and procedures.
• ER nursing, triage, and laboratory testing.
• Assist veterinarians during appointments, surgeries, and treatments.
• Communicate clearly with doctors, staff, and clients.
• Maintain inventory and medical records.
