Job summary

Innovetive Petcare in Charlottesville, Virginia is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) for Emergency medicine. You will provide critical care and work with trained specialists in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in emergency veterinary medicine (new grads welcome with strong interest in ER).
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs (with assistance) and remain on feet for extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced veterinary nursing tasks, including restraint and postoperative care.
• Assist veterinarians in emergency procedures and monitoring.
• Provide emergency care such as CPR and fluid therapy.
• Conduct diagnostic testing including hematology and urinalysis.
• Educate clients on care, treatments, and follow-up needs.
