Job summary

Columbia Pike Animal Hospital in Annandale, VA is seeking an Overnight Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our 24/7 care team. The role supports DVMs during appointments, surgeries, and emergency procedures, with a focus on compassionate patient care and clear communication with clients.

The ideal candidate will be a VA-licensed LVT (or license pending) with experience in anesthesia, dental procedures, and ER nursing.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in Virginia as a Veterinary Technician (LVT) or license pending.
• Experience with anesthesia and dental procedures preferred.
• Ability to lift/move up to 20 lbs and work in a fast-paced ER environment.

Responsibilities

• Surgery preparation with pre- and post-operative care.
• Administering anesthesia and patient monitoring.
• Dental cleanings and dental procedures.
• ER hospitalizing, triage emergency patient nursing, and laboratory testing.
