Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Texas hospital team. You will deliver comprehensive patient care, including nursing, anesthesia monitoring, dental care, radiology and laboratory work, while mentoring teammates and supporting efficient clinical operations.

You will educate pet owners, review medical records, and answer questions with a collaborative, high-quality care approach.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• Current state veterinary technician license (LVT) in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology and laboratory procedures.
• Calm and efficient in fast-paced or stressful situations.
• Strong communication and collaborative spirit.
• One year of experience in veterinary industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care including administering treatments and monitoring anesthesia.
• Perform lab work and radiology as part of diagnostic workflow.
• Mentor and lead the medical team to ensure efficient workflow and growth.
• Educate clients on treatments and review medical records, answering questions.
