Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to provide comprehensive patient care, including treatments, anesthesia monitoring, and lab work, in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will mentor team members, educate clients about treatments, review records, and contribute to a positive culture, with opportunities for professional development and AVMA-accredited program support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
• A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
• One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
• Lead and mentor the medical team, ensuring an efficient workflow while mentoring others to grow their skills and careers.
• Partner with clients by educating pet owners on treatments, reviewing medical records, and confidently answering questions.
• Contribute to a positive culture by training, providing feedback, and maintaining high hospital standards.
