Qualifications

• Experience handling dogs, cats, and exotic animals.
• Care for animals including feeding, bathing, grooming, and monitoring.
• Knowledge of veterinary procedures: surgery, dentistry, radiology, lab, anesthesia.
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology used in records and communication.
• Understanding of medications and dosing, interactions, and administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in examination, treatment, and monitoring of animals.
• Prepare and analyze lab samples; operate equipment; record findings.
• Assist in surgical suites and post-operative care; monitor anesthesia.
• Educate clients about Wellness Plans, care, nutrition, and disease prevention.
• Maintain medical charting and ensure accuracy and hospital standards.
• Support hospital operations and inventory management.
• Triaging calls, scheduling appointments, and client intake/discharge.
