Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) with current credentials.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of veterinary appointment, surgery, and nursing care experience.
• Equivalent education/certification considered.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by examinations and records, and review care plans.
• Care for patients by taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering medications, vaccines, and wound care.
• Assist during examinations and surgeries; assemble supplies and help restrain patients as directed.
• Provide nursing care and maintain detailed patient medical records.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status and treatment plans.
• Maintain equipment, sterilization, inventory, and comply with regulations.
