Overview

Washington Blvd Animal Hospital is hiring a full‑time Registered Veterinary Technician. The position offers competitive pay ($24–$28 per hour) and a comprehensive benefits package, along with a supportive, growth‑oriented team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow treatment plans prescribed by the veterinarian.
• Ensure safe patient handling and restraint.
• Provide preventive care and administer vaccines.
• Handle emergency and surgical procedures, including IV catheter placement.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and staff.
• Perform in‑hospital laboratory diagnostics (urinalysis, cytology, etc.) and manage lab samples.
• Administer injections, medications, and nursing care as directed by a veterinarian.
• Monitor and assist with general anesthesia when required.
• Maintain accurate, complete digital medical records.
• Keep the work environment clean and organized.
