Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a LVT in a GP setting.
• Availability to work weekends (Saturday or Sunday)
• Comfortable with computers and online tools
• Strong enough to lift 50 lbs
• A thoughtful and fearless team player
• A go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Skilled at communicating with clients
• Passionate about pets

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients and recognizing emergencies and illnesses.
• Assessing patients and recording vitals as directed by doctors.
• Assisting doctors with diagnostics and treatments.
• Completing treatments as instructed by the doctor.
• Providing basic husbandry and nursing care.
• Monitoring changes in patients and delivering compassionate care.
• Placing catheters and taking blood.
• Assisting in radiography and preparing samples for reference labs.
• Running in-house labs and administering medications.
• Maintaining a hospitable environment and teamwork.
