AmeriVet and Elko Veterinary Clinic are seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join a busy, full-service mixed animal practice in Elko, NV. The role offers full-time or part-time hours, with four 10-hour shifts weekly, and after-hours on-call rotation.

Qualifications
- Licensed Veterinary Technician in Nevada or eligible to transfer/acquire state license within 3 months of hire.
- 2+ years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant preferred.
- Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a hospital or ranch setting.
- Assist with large and small animals, birds, exotics, and their owners.
- Handle and restrain animals properly.
- Maintain excellent animal healthcare and behavior monitoring.
- Assist with anesthesia monitoring, surgery prep, and post-operative care.
- Perform diagnostic procedures including cytology, radiology, and ultrasounds.
- Support all duties of a Licensed Veterinary Technician as allowable by law.
