Chaska Veterinary Hospital in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry.

We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment, balancing exam room care, client communication, and hands-on procedural support. The role offers a full-time position with a 4/10 schedule and Monday–Friday availability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• Active and good-standing Licensed Veterinary Technician in Minnesota.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
• Radiology positioning and safety protocols.
• Medication administration and accurate drug calculations.
• Laboratory sample collection and in-house diagnostic testing.
• Accurate medical record documentation.
• Safe, low-stress patient handling and restraint techniques.

Responsibilities

• Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Assisting in surgery.
• Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography.
• Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation.
• Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly.
• Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management.
• Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service.
