South Shore Veterinary Hospital, located in Forest Lake, MN, is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. The role focuses on high-quality patient care during surgical and dental procedures, with emphasis on anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, and radiology.

We offer a full-time position with a flexible schedule (5/8s or 4/10s) and availability Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8am–5pm; Tuesdays/Thursdays until 8am–8pm.

Qualifications

• Minnesota Licensed Veterinary Technician required.
• 0-1 years veterinary experience or new graduates welcome.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and client communication.
• Ability to work with a team and follow veterinary technician protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, prep, recovery, dental cleanings and radiographs.
• Ensure efficient exam room workflow and excellent client communication.
• Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy.
• Collaborate with the veterinarian and team during outpatient visits to support orders and patient care.
