Cat Care Clinic of Naples LLC is a feline-exclusive practice in Naples, FL seeking a licensed veterinary technician. You will support veterinarians in exams, surgeries, and diagnostics, manage anesthesia, and ensure high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Florida LVT credential or eligible for licensure in FL.
• Graduate of AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program.
• Passed VTNE and Florida Laws & Rules Exam.
• Proficient in feline anatomy, pharmacology, and disease processes.
• Experience with anesthesia, IV catheterization, dental prophylaxis, and radiography.
• Fear Free or Cat Friendly Practice training is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and client-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform low-stress feline restraint and handling.
• Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, dental procedures, and diagnostics.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per protocol.
• Conduct in-house lab work: blood chemistry, CBC, urinalysis, cytology.
• Operate digital radiography, ultrasound, and anesthesia monitoring.
• Induce, monitor, and recover feline patients under anesthesia.
• Place IV catheters and support critical care patients.
• Maintain aseptic technique during surgery and sample collection.
• Document all patient care in PIMS system.
• Communicate treatment plans and post-care instructions with clients.
• Mentor Junior level staff members.

Physical Requirements
