Job summary

Cat Care Clinic of Naples is seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join a feline-exclusive team. You will support clinicians, perform anesthesia, manage in-house diagnostics, and deliver concierge care for cats in a calm, cat-only practice.

You will handle radiography, lab work, and client communication while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or eligible for licensure in Florida.
• Graduate of AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program.
• Passed VTNE and Florida Laws & Rules Exam.
• Proficient in feline anatomy, pharmacology, and disease processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform low-stress feline restraint and handling.
• Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, dental procedures, and diagnostics.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per protocol.
• Conduct in-house lab work: blood chemistry, CBC, urinalysis, cytology.
• Operate digital radiography, ultrasound, and anesthesia monitoring equipment.
• Induce, monitor, and recover feline patients under anesthesia.
• Place IV catheters and support critical care patients.
• Maintain aseptic technique during surgery and sample collection.
• Document all patient care in PIMS system.

You'll provide exceptional patient care, assist with medical procedures, and help deliver a concierge-level experience for our clients and their cats. • Passed VTNE and Florida Laws & Rules Exam
• Proficient in feline anatomy, pharmacology, and disease processes
• Experience with anesthesia, IV catheterization, dental prophylaxis, and radiography
• Fear Free or Cat Friendly Practice training is a plus
• Strong communication skills and client-first mindset

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to50 lbs
• Extended periods of standing and walking
• Manual dexterity for handling instruments and small patients
