South ShoreVeterinary Hospital in Forest Lake, MN is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team!

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, outgoing technicians who want to fullyutilizetheir education andexpertisewhile making meaningful connections with clients and their pets.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide excellentpatient care during surgical and dental procedures-including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
  • Ensureefficient exam room workflowand outstanding client communication.
  • Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and addressclientquestions with empathy and clarity.
  • Collaborate with your team to support theveterinarian’sorders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

This position is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who are passionate aboutexceptional patient and client care,andready to work at the top of their license in a supportive, team-focused environment.

This is a full-time position, with a flexible (5/8s or 4/10s) schedule and availability needed Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8am to 5pm and Tuesdays/Thursdays until 8am-8pm.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:
  • Compensation: $24-$29 per hour, for each hour worked*
  • CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on credentials

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
  • 1+ yearsof veterinary experience in a clinical setting
  • Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Minnesota
  • Proficiency in the following skills:

  • Safe, low-stress patient handling and restraint techniques
  • Laboratory sample collection and in-house diagnostic testing
  • Medication administration and accurate drug calculations
  • Radiology positioning and safety protocols

  • Surgical assistance and aseptic technique
  • Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery
