Shoreline Veterinary Hospital in Shoreline, WA is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. You will provide patient care during surgical and dental procedures, monitor anesthesia, and support exam room workflows.

This full-time role requires 3+ years of LVT experience, strong client communication, and collaboration with veterinarians to ensure high-quality care across outpatient visits and procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience in a clinical setting.
• Active, good-standing Licensed Veterinary Technician in Washington state.
• Proficiency in anesthesia induction, monitoring, recovery, dental prophylaxis and radiography.
• Ability to review treatment plans and provide discharge instructions empathetically.
• Strong client communication and education skills.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

Job description

If you're a skilled, outgoingLicensed Veterinary Technician who enjoys fully utilizing their knowledge and education, Shoreline Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced LVT to join our team!

In this role, you will:

• Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
• Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication.
• Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
• Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian’s orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

This is a full-time position, with a flexible schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays (Saturday shifts are 9am-1pm).

• Compensation: $30-35 per hour, for each hour worked*

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience in a clinical setting
• Active and good-standing Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Washington
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
  • Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
  • Assisting in surgery
  • Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography
  • Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
  • Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
  • Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital
  • Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
