VetSelect Animal Hospital of Commerce Township is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our full-time team. You will assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, and dental procedures, perform lab work, radiographs, and ensure accurate medical records while delivering compassionate client service.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with clinical experience in a hospital setting.

• Strong documentation and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients and support veterinarians during exams and procedures.

Salary: Negotiable and based on experience and licensure

Schedule: Flexible 4‑day work week with rotating 5‑hour Saturday shifts

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do

• Provide compassionate nursing care and support to patients and clients every day
• Assist veterinarians during exams, surgical procedures, and dental cleanings
• Perform laboratory testing, including bloodwork, fecals, urinalysis, and cytology
• Monitor anesthesia, perform dental radiographs, and support surgical preparation and recovery
• Take and develop digital radiographs and maintain accurate patient medical records
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccines as directed
• Educate clients about preventive care, nutrition, and treatment plans
