BluePearl Pet Hospital in Midtown NYC is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Internal Medicine team, working with board-certified specialists on complex cases. This role offers opportunities to perform advanced diagnostics, anesthesia, imaging, and client education in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician required.
• Experience with internal medicine and complex cases preferred.
• Ability to perform precise medical math and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calculate, and administer CRIs with high accuracy.
• Induce, monitor, and recover patients under anesthesia.
• Prepare patients and equipment for advanced imaging (ultrasound, radiology).
• Assist with endoscopic procedures (GI, nasal, urinary, airway).
• Provide discharge education for clients (e.g., insulin, fluids, feeding tube management).
• Maintain organization and cleanliness within the service.
• Support evolving needs of a fast-paced internal medicine service.
