BluePearl Pet Hospital in Midtown, NY is seeking a skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician for our Emergency + ICU departments. Enjoy competitive pay ranging from $30 to $51 per hour, depending on experience, along with up to a $7,500 sign-on bonus. This role includes monitoring anesthesia, triaging emergency cases, and providing overall excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Hold a current VT license as a Veterinary Technician.
• Experience in emergency veterinary care preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia in patients.
• Triage emergency cases and obtain patient vitals.
• Perform digital radiography using proper techniques.
• Obtain and interpret blood pressure and vital signs.
• Initiate CPR for patients at risk for arrest.
• Calculate medical math and administer medications.
• Place and maintain feeding tubes and IV catheters.
• Mentor and train co-workers.
