Job summary

New Paths Inc. in Flint, MI is seeking a Licensed or Limited Licensed Master’s Level Therapist (MSW or LPC) who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve meaningful recovery.

As a member of our clinical team, you will provide a variety of counseling services, complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress, while benefiting from supportive supervision and CEU opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences, Human Services or equivalent.
• Licensed or Limited Licensed MSW or LPC required.
• Maintain licensing and/or certification as required by state and contract.
• One year of related work experience.
• Ability to document therapeutic interventions clearly and timely.
• Basic computer skills for charting and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and a variety of therapeutic services.
• Assess substance use, mental health and psychosocial status and plan care.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with patient input.
• Document sessions, progress notes and required reports timely.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with the clinical team.
