Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC in Asheville, NC is hiring an assessment clinician to perform comprehensive clinical assessments and addendums for returning clients. The office-based role serves both adults and children with limited caseload if desired, coordinating with psychiatry and community resources.

The ideal candidate holds a graduate degree in Social Work, NC licensure, and at least 2 years of experience with mental/behavioral health, including writing person-centered plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Social Work or a related field
• Valid licensure to provide mental/behavioral healthcare in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years experience with mental/behavioral health, including writing person-centered plans, conducting group therapy and providing diagnoses
• General working knowledge of the NC human services delivery system
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Experience with EMR preferred
• Pre-employment screenings including background checks and verification of education/credentials

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments
• Run individual, family, and group outpatient therapy sessions
• Conduct inpatient group therapy sessions
• Orient new service users to RHA
• Develop person-centered plans for service users
• Oversee discharge planning
• Facilitate relationships with families and community resources
