Job summary

North American Mental Health Services is seeking a licensed therapist to provide quality mental health services across diverse communities. You will conduct psychosocial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver individual, family, and group therapies using evidence-based approaches.

You will ensure accurate documentation, collaborate with psychiatrists and case managers, and participate in crisis intervention when needed, maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field.
• Active California license as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Experience with Medi‑Cal recipients preferred.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care).
• Maintain compliant documentation per state and federal regulations, organizational policies, and insurance requirements.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, case managers, and other behavioral health professionals.
