Job summary

STRENGTH OF MIND in Oklahoma seeks a compassionate licensed mental health professional to provide counseling and psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and groups. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress while supporting clients’ overall well‑being with evidence-based care.

You will monitor progress, adjust goals as needed, collaborate with other providers, and respond to safety concerns in line with ethical and legal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Active licensure in good standing as an LPC, LCSW, or PhD-level clinician.
  • Experience providing mental health counseling or psychotherapy in a clinical setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and intervention skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality standards, ethics, and applicable laws.

In this role, you will help clients navigate emotional, behavioral, and life challenges while supporting their overall well-being through ethical, evidence-based care.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For
  • Current, active licensure in good standing as an LPC, LCSW, or PhD-level clinician, depending on role requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience providing mental health counseling or psychotherapy in a clinical setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and intervention skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality standards, ethical practice, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative care environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with a variety of presenting concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship issues, or life transitions.
  • Training in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, solution-focused therapy, or trauma-informed care.
  • Experience providing services in outpatient, private practice, community mental health, or integrated care settings.
  • Multilingual abilities or experience serving diverse populations.
