Job summary

Sierra Health and Wellness seeks an Associate Therapist / Licensed Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy at our Concord, CA facility. The role requires a master’s degree in a relevant field and licensure, with experience in drug and alcohol counseling and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities include conducting therapy, preparing reports, and coordinating with other agencies. Competitive benefits and multiple paid leave options are included.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a license as a mental health professional regulated by a state board (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
• Must possess a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling.
• Have at minimum two-year experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling.
• Very familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights.
• Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Performs journey-level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients.
• Assesses and monitors clients’ behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency.
• Works as a team member with other professionals.
• Participates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences.
• Conducts individual, family, and group therapy; interviews clients and relatives.
• Participates in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies.

Education

Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling

License as a mental health professional (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC)
