Job summary

Sierra Health and Wellness is seeking an Associate Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients in chemical and alcohol treatment. You will participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and respond to clinical emergencies, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation of all interactions.

The role requires a master’s degree in social work, MFT, or counseling, and state registration with ASW/AMFT/APC.

Qualifications

• Requires master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling.
• Must obtain and maintain a state board registration (ASW/AMFT/APC).
• Must have at least 1 year of drug and alcohol counseling experience.
• Familiar with HIPAA and client confidentiality.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients in treatment.
• Assess and monitor client progress and behavior.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment and aftercare planning.
• Respond to clinical emergencies and crises as needed.
• Document clinical interactions in the electronic medical record.
