Job summary

Guiding Hands Healthcare in Carlsbad, CA seeks a Mental Health Group Facilitator to lead beginner-friendly, structured groups for clients new to treatment. Masters-level clinicians (ACSW/AMFT/APCC or Licensed Therapists) are invited to apply to share skills in psychoeducation and coping strategies.

You will provide consistent support, document sessions, collaborate with the treatment team, and participate in supervision.

Qualifications

• Registered associate (ACSW/AMFT/APCC) or Licensed Therapist (LMFT/LCSW/LPCC)
• At least 1+ years of mental health experience
• Comfortable facilitating groups of 4–12 clients
• Must pass background TB drug screening and provide liability insurance

Responsibilities

• Facilitate beginner-friendly, structured group sessions on mental health concepts, regulation, coping & self-awareness
• Build trust and maintain boundaries in group settings
• Provide consistency, stability, and positive reinforcement to clients
• Complete timely documentation and collaborate with the treatment team
• Participate in group and individual supervision
