Job summary

Guiding Hands Healthcare in California seeks Associate and Licensed Therapists (ACSW, AMFT, APCC, and above) to support Mental Health and Substance Use recovery. The role emphasizes group services, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active California registration or licensure (including AMFT, APCC, ACSW, and above)
• Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals experiencing mental illness and/or substance use disorders
• Valid California driver’s license and current automobile liability insurance
• Ability to successfully complete required background and medical screenings

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging and clinically appropriate group sessions
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive therapeutic environment
• Attend group supervision sessions
• Participate in leadership coaching opportunities with the organization's CEO
