Job summary

CTRLCare Behavioral Health in Jackson, Tennessee, seeks a dedicated Therapist to provide evidence-based therapy to residents in our detox-centered program. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and deliver individualized care in an on-site setting.

Responsibilities include biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and documenting progress in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Current and active state licensure and certification (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, LAC).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion and empathy in working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments on admission and document findings.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and update plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling focused on motivation and recovery.
• Facilitate family meetings and support healthy communication.
• Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare referrals.
• Provide crisis intervention and maintain EMR documentation.
• Educate patients and families about resources and support groups.
• Participate in daily rounds and quality improvement initiatives.
