Job summary

Knoxville Recovery Centers in Knoxville, TN seeks a Detox Counselor to provide direct client care and lead group therapy for inpatient detox clients, while maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment per policies.

Under the Clinical Director, you will coordinate with the treatment team, conduct assessments, document progress, and help develop treatment plans. Requires a Bachelor's degree and TN LADAC Level II license; prior individual and group counseling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health or related field.
• Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC) Level II in TN.
• Experience with individual and group counseling and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care and lead group therapy sessions for inpatient detox.
• Maintain a safe, efficient treatment environment per policies and best practices.
• Communicate with the treatment team to ensure quality care for all clients.
• Conduct assessments to determine needs and develop treatment goals.
• Complete intake documents and maintain progress notes per regulations.
