Job summary

Ctrlcare Behavioral Health in Jackson, TN, is seeking an on-site Therapist to deliver high-quality therapy within our residential detox center. You will collaborate with a team of therapists, psychiatrists, and support staff to support patients through early recovery.

Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, family education, discharge planning, crisis intervention, and EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
• Current and active state licensure and certification for (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, LAC).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion and empathy when working with mental health challenges.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments on admission.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and develop discharge plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling focused on motivation, relapse prevention, and coping skills.
• Facilitate family meetings and provide education on addiction and recovery.
• Coordinate discharge and aftercare planning including referrals.
• Provide crisis intervention and follow safety protocols.
• Maintain timely documentation in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families about resources and support groups.
• Participate in daily clinical rounds and quality improvement initiatives.
