Job summary

Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Arlington, TX. You will provide therapeutic services, develop individualized treatment plans, and support patients and families throughout recovery.

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, collaborative, and dedicated to delivering high-quality behavioral healthcare for children and adolescents, with a strong emphasis on family involvement and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Current unrestricted Texas licensure or license eligibility.
• Experience in a behavioral health, psychiatric, or clinical setting.
• Strong communication, assessment, and crisis intervention skills.
• Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate daily individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and treatment team members to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with families, guardians, referral sources, and community partners.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to clinical decision-making.
• Develop and implement discharge plans to support transitions back into the community.
• Connect patients and families with community resources and follow-up services.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately within established timeframes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
