Job summary

Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington is seeking a licensed therapist to join our multidisciplinary treatment team, delivering individual, group, and family therapy to children and adolescents.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, coordinate with psychiatrists and nursing staff, and support families through recovery. A master's in a behavioral health field and Texas licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Current unrestricted Texas licensure or license eligibility.
• Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, or clinical settings.
• Strong communication, assessment, and crisis intervention skills.
• Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate daily individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and treatment team members to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with families, guardians, referral sources, and community partners.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to clinical decision-making.
• Develop and implement discharge plans that support successful transitions back into the community.
• Connect patients and families with appropriate community resources and follow-up services.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and within established timeframes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
