Job summary

Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington is seeking a licensed therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Arlington, TX. You will provide therapeutic services, develop individualized treatment plans, and support children and adolescents and their families through recovery.

The ideal candidate has a master's degree in a behavioral health field, Texas licensure or eligibility, and strong communication and assessment skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Current unrestricted Texas licensure or license eligibility.
• Experience working in a behavioral health, psychiatric, or clinical setting.
• Strong communication, assessment, and crisis intervention skills.
• Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate daily individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and treatment team members to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with families, guardians, referral sources, and community partners.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to clinical decision-making.
• Develop and implement discharge plans that support successful transitions back into the community.
• Connect patients and families with appropriate community resources and follow-up services.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and within established timeframes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
