Job summary

Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington seeks a PRN Licensed Therapist to join the clinical team in Arlington, TX. You will provide therapeutic services as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team, impacting patients across age groups on their recovery journey.

Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, individual/family/group therapy, and coordination of discharge planning. Requires TX licensure (LMSW/LCSW/LPC/LMFT) and BLS; HWC certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
• Current unrestricted Texas licensure: LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Handle With Care (HWC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Maintain communication with families, guardians, and community partners regarding patient progress and discharge planning.
• Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare services to promote successful transitions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other treatment team members.
• Document assessments, treatment interventions, and patient progress per regulatory and facility requirements.
• Connect patients and families with appropriate community resources and support services.
