Job summary

Plains Area Mental Health, Inc. in Carroll is seeking a licensed therapist to provide outpatient counseling for children and adults in a community mental health setting. The role offers a full-time schedule with a predictable Monday–Friday routine and one evening per week, plus potential hybrid work after onboarding.

Travel to nearby satellite offices may be required occasionally. A bilingual differential is available, and a competitive salary is offered, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree (MA, MS, MSW) required.
• Iowa LMHC, LISW or LMFT License required.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive behavioral health evaluations.
• Provide individual counseling across a variety of diagnoses and age groups.
• Coordinate care with internal providers and community resources.
• Participate in treatment planning and clinical consultation.
• Maintain timely documentation and clinical records.
• Assist during crisis intervention situations when needed.
• Participate in paid on-call rotation.
• Mentor temporary licensed clinicians through supervision.

Position Overview
