Job summary

Plains Area Mental Health Center is seeking a Licensed Therapist to provide high-quality outpatient behavioral health services in a Denison community setting. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, competitive benefits, and a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Salary ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 depending on experience, with a $3,000 annual bilingual differential available. Full-time schedule includes some evenings and a 30‑40 hour work week.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
• Current Iowa LMHC, LISW, or LMFT license.
• Valid Iowa Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic assessments and clinical evaluations.
• Individual outpatient counseling for children and adults.
• Developing treatment plans and monitoring client progress.
• Collaborating with psychiatric providers, case managers, and peer support staff.
• Crisis intervention and emergency behavioral health services.
• Clinical documentation and record management.
• Paid on‑call rotation participation.
• Clinical supervision opportunities for temporary licensed providers.

Schedule

• Full-Time (30-40 hours weekly)
• Benefits begin at 30 hours
• Monday-Friday schedule
• One scheduled evening each week
• Hybrid schedule available after telehealth caseload development
