Lake Granbury Youth Services in Granbury, Texas is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our Rite of Passage team. The role focuses on individual, family, and group therapy for youth ages 10-17 in a trauma-informed setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Lake Granbury Youth Services is a secure post-adjudication facility located in North Texas that provides comprehensive services to young women (10-17), using a trauma-informed, strength-based, gender responsive model. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment, we empower youth to reach their full potential. The facility features group, individual, and family therapy, on-site schooling, individual dorm rooms, and extracurricular opportunities for the students. What you will do: The Licensed Therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy while overseeing the completion of treatment for students under their care. This may include services such as: clinical assessments, service planning, counseling, case management, record keeping, and service coordination with the multi-disciplinary team. As the Licensed Therapist, you may document and assess the effectiveness of specific interventions toward meeting the treatment plan objectives and goals. This position may require you to provide crisis intervention, as necessary and does require monthly progress notes, staffing reports, plans, and discharge summaries of all students within your care.

To be considered you should:

  • Have an Texas license as a LPC, LAC, LMSW, LCSW, OR LMFT
  • Must have a Master’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
  • Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
  • Must meet requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:0 AM to 12:00 PMon Call Schedule
